Host Xiang Wan transmigrates into a vicious supporting character. Seeking a quiet retirement, the system forces her to follow the plot to survive. The original owner is a stand-in wife for male lead Lu Jingxing, forced into divorce and suicide when his first love returns. Facing this "disastrous start," Xiang Wan deviates from the path: she plays a funeral dirge for her "dead husband" at a banquet, entangles herself with the sinister villain Lu Chi, swaps aphrodisiacs for croton powder, and wreaks havoc on the leads' romance. Spending time together, Xiang Wan discovers Lu Chi's cold exterior hides hidden depths; his leg injury and car accident were staged by his foster father Lu Xiao. When Lu Xiao forces Lu Chi to choose between life and death via poisoned wine, Xiang Wan drinks it instead. To save Lu Chi, she trades all mission points for one day of life, dying with a smile after saying "I do" at their wedding. Mission complete, memories wiped, but the mole on her wrist remains the mark to recognize each other across thousands of worlds.

I literally could not stop watching! The cliffhanger at the end of this episode had me holding my breath.

The acting and pacing are top notch for a short drama. That confrontation scene was unforgettable!
