From Penniless Widow to Prairie Queen — Episode 1

A modern chef wakes up in 1886 Minnesota as a penniless widow about to lose her farm—and her children. With no money, no modern tools, and no one willing to help her, Claire has only one weapon: her cooking. She turns potatoes, bones, sour milk, oats, pork scraps, and lake fish into dishes the whole town fights to taste. But every success brings new enemies. She is mocked, sabotaged, framed, and nearly stripped of everything at auction. Claire refuses to surrender. She fights back, protects her children, uncovers the truth behind her husband’s death, and finally takes her enemy’s inn—turning it into the restaurant that changes her life.
