Maren spends years building a core operating system that saves her company from bankruptcy and secures contracts worth hundreds of millions. In return, her boss deducts $250 from her paycheck, hands her bonus to an unqualified intern, and forces her out. When her mother is kidnapped to coerce a patent transfer, Maren plays along—on camera, for the record. But the patents she signs away were already licensed to a classified national-security agency. As the company’s entire infrastructure collapses and the authorities close in, those who thought they had won discover that Maren’s real power was never in the boardroom. It was in the code she wrote years ago. A quiet, devastating revenge built not on confrontation, but on architecture.

I literally could not stop watching! The cliffhanger at the end of this episode had me holding my breath.

The acting and pacing are top notch for a short drama. That confrontation scene was unforgettable!
