She Took Her Dead Sister's Place — Episode 10

After her twin sister Elara dies on the eve of marrying into the powerful Blackwood family, Mara takes her place in a wedding dress meant for a dead woman. The groom, Kael Blackwood, recognizes the lie immediately—and reveals that Elara was hunting proof of his mother Helena’s crimes. Three brides have already died inside the Blackwood estate, but Elara’s notes point to something worse than murder: erasure. Following hidden keys, burned files, secret ledgers, and forbidden rooms, Mara and Kael uncover a web of bribed doctors, vanished heirs, buried identities, and a woman named Selene kept alive beneath the east wing. As Helena turns family power, law, and fear against them, Mara must decide whether Kael is ally, weapon, or another Blackwood trap. But even after Helena falls, Briar House still remembers Elara—and a locked nursery reveals the darkest secret of all: the dead sister may have left behind a living heir.
