Twenty-one-year-old college student Noah Hayes was interning at Aster Technologies when police called: his five-year-old daughter, Lottie, had gone missing and was at the station. Noah insisted he had never dated anyone, but Lottie knew his private information and claimed she came from 2034, with her mother being his direct superior, twenty-four-year-old Katherine Morgan. A paternity test confirmed Lottie was their biological daughter. Powerful, rational Katherine and laid-back, sharp-tongued Noah initially disliked each other and struggled to accept that they would one day marry and have a daughter. To care for Lottie, they decided to share parental responsibilities temporarily. Because Lottie believed her parents should live together, Noah moved into Katherine's home, and they signed a cohabitation agreement stating they "absolutely must not fall in love." As they spent time together, Noah's responsibility, professional ability, and thoughtfulness gradually changed Katherine's opinion of him. Katherine's cold exterior also revealed a softer side through caring for their daughter, getting jealous, relying on him, and losing control of her heartbeat. Other potential romantic interests made them realize they could not accept the other belonging to someone else.

I literally could not stop watching! The cliffhanger at the end of this episode had me holding my breath.

The acting and pacing are top notch for a short drama. That confrontation scene was unforgettable!
