Single mother Maya struggles to survive at the bottom with her son—hawking goods on the street, sleeping in shelters, enduring endless bullying and contempt. But she never puts down her pen, chronicling life in the cracks with the rawest honesty. When a long-overdue publishing offer finally ignites hope, the man who vanished six years ago reappears at her door—yet Maya chooses to finish her story on her own, without anyone else. She walks through the darkest stretch of her journey, uses her royalties to buy her son new shoes, and reclaims her wholeness as a person.

I literally could not stop watching! The cliffhanger at the end of this episode had me holding my breath.

The acting and pacing are top notch for a short drama. That confrontation scene was unforgettable!
