Peach Blossom Tribulation in a Troubled World — Episode 14

During the chaotic era of warlord rivalry, young Marshal Lu Qingshan was separated from his childhood love, "Bao'er." His only clues to finding her are a concentric jade pendant and a melody played on a leaf flute. Years later, he is forced to marry Wen Shiyi, the mute daughter of the Wen family, whom he treats with cold neglect. Driven by jealousy, his cousin Lu Miaoqing pretends to be Bao'er and repeatedly schemes to frame Shiyi, even resorting to poisoning and accusing her of espionage. Shiyi endures endless humiliation and falls into despair after suffering a miscarriage. When the truth is finally revealed, Miaoqing conspires with spies to assassinate Qingshan, but Shiyi risks her life to save him. Though Qingshan is filled with deep remorse, Shiyi's heart is already dead, and she only wishes to leave. Amidst the drifting peach blossoms, their tangled love and hatred remain unresolved.
