A birthday surprise brings heiress Evelyn Whitmore to the edge of a cliff. There, her husband Nathan and adopted sister Camille reveal their betrayal, push her over, and tell her family it was an accident. Caught by a tree, Evelyn survives the fall and reaches a mountain cave with an injured leg. An abandoned emergency pack, a small fire, and desperate signals become her only hope. Back home, Nathan and Camille seek a declaration of death to pursue her trust assets, while turning their threats on her father. An interrupted call keeps her mother Helen searching. Meanwhile, Evelyn's adopted brother Daniel, presumed dead, secretly awakens and traces overlooked clues in visitors' footage. Storms and rockfalls repeatedly block the rescue, but on the seventh day Evelyn is finally brought to safety.
