Anna, a New York University jewelry design graduate, bears life’s burdens alone after her mother’s death. She works every day at a fast-food restaurant to repay the $50,000 medical debt her mother left behind. On her way home from work, she meets Walter, a disabled billionaire, and helps him without hesitation. Moved by her kindness, Walter asks Anna to meet his grandson, Warren. She struggles with the decision, but accepts the marriage proposal because the promised security could solve her financial crisis, becoming Warren’s wife in name only. Since his grandfather arranged the marriage, Warren distrusts Anna. He hides his true identity as president of Ford Group and pretends to be a broke driver who cannot even afford rent. Living together, Anna’s kindness and resilience gradually change him. She writes an IOU for $50,000, works herself to the bone to repay it, and fights back when framed at work. Warren’s thoughtfulness gives Anna warmth she has not felt in years. Their feelings quietly grow through ordinary moments. Yet Warren’s billionaire background keeps causing misunderstandings. Aureo Design, where Anna starts working, is the company Warren has just acquired. There, Joy, a rich heiress, accuses Anna of copying her graduation project. Warren secretly witnesses Anna’s talent and integrity, then protects his wife while posing as the president’s driver. Joy’s uncle is a Ford Group director. At the group’s annual gala, Warren stages a dramatic rescue as a driver, exposing Joy’s plagiarism and fraud in public—but also making Anna suspect his real identity. Warren’s mother suddenly visits. An identity-exposure crisis erupts at a corporate banquet, while Maya, his childhood friend, returns and sparks jealousy. One event after another traps the couple in amusing misunderstandings and trials. Anna often feels insecure because of their social gap, while Warren struggles between family pressure and his love for her. When Maya publicly reveals that Warren is the president of Ford Group, Anna’s heart breaks over his deception, and she asks for a divorce. Warren launches an all-out campaign to win his wife back. He fiercely protects Anna when she faces workplace bullying and honestly reveals his fears and true feelings. Anna gradually understands why Warren closed his heart after being betrayed by his family. They argue and endure cold wars, yet ultimately choose to stand by each other. Anna donates an unexpected fortune in compensation to orphanages and hospitals. Her pure kindness completely moves Warren. A marriage that began as a transaction is forged into true love through misunderstandings and trials. Together, they cross the class divide and find the sincere hearts they belong to each other.

I literally could not stop watching! The cliffhanger at the end of this episode had me holding my breath.

The acting and pacing are top notch for a short drama. That confrontation scene was unforgettable!
