Stolen Glory — Episode 15

Aires grew up in an orphanage. Eight years ago, Victor, heir to the Drake family, took her from a welfare home and forged her into the family’s deadliest hidden blade. Using the debt of saving her life, he manipulated her into carrying out high-risk missions while crediting every victory to Camilla, whom he presented as the family’s top assassin, King. After five years under Victor’s control, Aires still dreamed of standing openly at his side, unaware she was only a disposable tool. Victor’s uncle Danter seemed like a useless, idle playboy, but he was secretly the ruler of the underground Night Owl organization. He had loved Aires for five years and quietly gathered proof that Victor falsified mission records and stole her achievements. When Victor ordered Aires on an almost suicidal mission to secure his position, Danter exposed everything at a Drake family gathering, bringing eight years of mission files and proof that Camilla had never fought. Aires finally saw Victor’s truth: he had never loved her, only used her, even planning to sell her to Night Owl for profit. With Danter’s help, she left the Drake family and joined Night Owl. She proved her strength in combat and earned core-member status as King, but chose to stand beside Danter as a partner, never a subordinate. The truth later revealed that Rilwan had ordered Aires’s parents, the Sterling couple, killed fifteen years earlier to conceal Drake family dealings. Her father’s letter and the transaction route became her weapons against Rilwan. Victor repeatedly framed her and, with Camilla, even tried to assassinate her at the docks, but every scheme failed. Rilwan eventually discovered that Danter was Night Owl’s leader, and the two sides clashed. Backed by Night Owl, Danter forced Rilwan to cancel the hunt for Aires and publicly sever ties with the Drake family. Victor was cast aside for hiding the truth and plotting; Camilla handed over evidence of his crimes and fled. Aires reclaimed her identity and glory. She no longer served any power, but stood beside Danter as an equal and found where she truly belonged.
