Lila Lane, director of a carton factory, refused to force an injured female worker to take the blame after an equipment failure, clashing fiercely with shareholder Drake Voss. While on the run, she met Jude Shaw, a scrap collector. Bound by a truckload of waste paper crucial to the survival of 17 low-income families, they team up against Voss's ruthless sabotage and framing, fighting for workplace safety, recovering unpaid wages, and launching a workers' cooperative. Along the way, Shaw finally untangles an 11-year-old knot in his heart.

I literally could not stop watching! The cliffhanger at the end of this episode had me holding my breath.

The acting and pacing are top notch for a short drama. That confrontation scene was unforgettable!
