While spending time with his ex-lover Stacy and her son Lucas, Adrian leaves his own daughter, Esther, locked inside the car. Under the scorching midsummer sun, the car overheats and the engine shuts down. With the AC cut off, Esther is trapped in rising temperatures and begins to lose consciousness. She calls Adrian for help, but he hangs up without listening. Right before her tablet battery dies, Esther makes a desperate call to her mother, Claire. However, the device powers off before she can share her location. A panicked Claire rushes out to search for her. Can Claire find and rescue her daughter before the worst happens?
