A Deal With the Cold CEO — Episode 16

To save her father's life, ER nurse Sophia Bennett signs a three-year contract marriage worth $30 million with cold CEO Alexander Knight. Alexander uses the arrangement as a firewall against his family's arranged marriages, bringing Sophia into a world where she faces intense scrutiny and humiliation from his elitist mother, Eleanor. Despite the hostility, Sophia refuses to compromise her dignity and relies on her professional resilience. The fragile bond between Sophia and Alexander is tested when his first love, Isabella Monroe, returns. Isabella manipulates evidence, forging photos and staging a hotel encounter to frame Sophia for betrayal. When Alexander's trust wavers, a heartbroken Sophia exposes Isabella's digital forgeries before leaving the Knight mansion—keeping her newfound pregnancy a secret. Realizing the depth of his mistakes, Alexander embarks on a genuine path of redemption. Rather than using their child to force her return, he publicly admits his faults, protects her from further schemes, and places all power of choice in her hands. Through undeniable sincerity, Alexander finally wins Sophia's heart, transforming a transactional arrangement into a true, loving family.
