Help! Animals Won’t Stop Talking to Me — Episode 18

Evelyn Cole, a ranch stable-hand, unexpectedly acquires the ability to understand animal language. She saves champion racehorse Blaze, who is misdiagnosed with fatal illness and awaiting euthanasia. Hearing his true agony lies in gravel-struck hooves, she treats the injury and rescues his life. Impressed by her unique gift, ranch owner Ms. Carter hires her as an equine health consultant. Evelyn solves numerous baffling animal cases that standard medical exams cannot explain. She assists troubled animals struggling with depression, insomnia, stress and environmental discomfort. She discovers most abnormal animal behaviors stem from ignored emotions and living conditions. Her precise, unusual diagnoses arouse strong skepticism from veterinarian Dr. Harris. Accused of relying on luck without formal qualifications, Evelyn earns her veterinary license. She proves her professionalism in a public competition by solving a border collie’s drug ingestion case. Through rich experience, she understands her gift only collects clues, not an all-powerful cure. She establishes animal mental and behavioral health records to guide vets and pet owners. As her career prospers, she is invited to treat a recovered yet anorexic snow leopard. Devoted to helping voiceless creatures, Evelyn sets off again to explore hidden troubles.
