Incomplete Wedding — Episode 18

Edward Henderson hid his wealth to win Irene Lawson, a simple, kind woman who loved him for who he was, or so he thought. He planned to reveal the truth on their wedding day, but Nancy, Irene's best friend, had other ideas. Swayed by whispers of a 'love test', Irene turned the wedding into a series of impossible demands. Edward pleaded and tried to persuade her, but his bride listened only to her friend. He looked at the woman he loved, saw a stranger, and made his decision: 'Wedding cancelled'.
