Mysterious agent Peter Rogers receives the National Medal of Honor. After retiring, he has dinner with his daughter Leslie and is mistaken for a fiancé by CEO Sydney Greenfield, setting off a surprising marriage. His ex-girlfriend and a former classmate, unaware of who he really is, try to humiliate him. Then Sydney publicly announces their marriage, exposing them and leaving the opportunists humiliated.
