The rugged, short-curly-haired driver with a distinct cross tattoo peeking out of his cut-off plaid shirt layered over a plain white tank top is mid unplanned late-night fare run when his sharp, long wavy-haired passenger in a fitted off-white top and oversized metal hoop earrings slaps a thick stack of cash on his dashboard out of nowhere, striking a no-questions-asked last-minute deal that turns their total stranger dynamic upside down before they even hit the city tunnel. Seconds later, a massive, unforeseen blaze erupts right beside the tunnel entrance, searing orange flames swallowing the entire stretch of road ahead, every swerve and near-miss a brush with certain death that strips away all their pretense: the once tough, unyielding woman crumbles into shaky, vulnerable panic.
