Maternal Love Awakens Daughter's Conscience — Episode 2

In her youth, He Xiulan was forced to sell her daughter, Shu Yao, as a child bride. Shu Yao escaped, studied hard, and entered university, but to marry into wealth, she lied that her mother was an overseas singer and disowned her. When her mother fell ill with cancer, she brought her life-saving money and local gifts to visit, only to be treated like a maid by her daughter and humiliated by her in-laws. Shu Yao's aunt—the long-lost second daughter of the Wang family—was found, exposing the truth. Remorseful, Shu Yao reconciled with her mother, divorced, and stayed to care for her treatment. A mother's greatness awakens her daughter's conscience.
