Misplaced Inheritance — Episode 2

Mother Xia receives a large relocation payment, intending to divide it between her two biological sons. The village chief warns that sons may not be filial, but the adopted daughter is sincere. Mother Xia tests them, finding the sons greedy while the adopted daughter is devoted. Bound by tradition, she still gifts the money to the sons and lives with them, only to suffer mistreatment. Her daughter repeatedly protects her. Mother Xia realizes blood ties do not guarantee care; gratitude matters most.
