The Snake That Became a Dragon — Episode 2

At his binding ritual, Academy prodigy Kaelen Voss summons only a worthless grass snake. Disavowed by fiancée Seraphina and exiled by his clan, he is hunted into the Whispering Woods. Near death, he learns the snake can devour magic and evolve endlessly. Naming it Nidh, he hunts beasts and rises as it becomes a black-gold true dragon. When Seraphina, the Academy, and the Supreme Mage Council’s Dragon Slaughter Decree move against him, he crushes them and strips Seraphina of her magic. In an ancient dragon tomb, he gains the Inheritance of Ten Thousand Dragons and uncovers the Temple’s ancient betrayal of dragonkind. In the final battle, he resists demonic corruption, merges with Nidh, purifies the summoned Demon Lord, and saves the world—then returns to the woods with Nidh, once more a small grass snake, to live in peace.
