Chef Leon Kennedy, once the legendary 'King of Cooking', hit rock bottom after his wife's tragic death. Losing everything but his loyal dog Dante, he takes a low-profile job at a restaurant. There, he faces bullying from coworker Bryant and threats from businessman William. Forced to show his legendary culinary skills, Leon's comeback is cut short when Bryant humiliates him and William kills his beloved dog.
