Ten years ago, Austin—the galaxy's greatest hero—crushed the Star-Eater invasion, then retired to a quiet farm with his tractor, cornfield, and dog Bingo. When the Star-Eaters return and Earth is losing, an alien gunship targets Bingo. Austin snaps and heads back into space to finish what he started. The universe will kneel. He'll say no—because he has a dog to walk at sunset.
