Son Fu Xiaoyao escapes to the desert, saved by Jin Doudou, daughter of Dragon Gate Inn owner Jin Xiangyu. Doudou is the last La Dian Saintess; her heart blood is the secret medicine's catalyst. Lu Anning holds the inn hostage, forcing them to lead him to the Queen's tomb. Surviving mirage markets, toxic traps, and guardians, Xiaoyao and Doudou realize the treasure's truth—the Queen valued only simple items from her homeland. They burn the treasure map, escape the desert, and return to marry at Dragon Gate Inn, leaving Lu Anning trapped eternally in the tomb.
