Lucas Hayes and his wife Chloe go for a routine checkup. The results come back: advanced liver cancer. But Chloe misreads the report — she believes Lucas is the one dying, not her. While Lucas scrambles to raise the $50,000 surgery fee, Chloe refuses the hospital's arranged liver donor and lends the $50,000 to her younger brother to get a car.
