June and Jim are a pair of betrothed couples who have never met. Due to the matchmaking of their elders, the two, who were originally prepared to call off the engagement, ended up sharing a night of pleasure. June, fearing embarrassment, fled without getting a good look at her partner. Meanwhile, Jim, finding a resume belonging to June's best friend Penny, mistakenly identified his fiancée as Penny. At the same time, Jim became June's boss and selected her as his assistant. Penny, fearing that her impersonation of June's fiancée would be exposed, launched a series of targeted incidents against June. The intricate relationships among the three unfold this convoluted and coincidental story. Fortunately, true lovers eventually find their way to each other. In the end, Jim and June discover the truth and fall in love genuinely, eventually marrying each other.
