Bound by the Black Harbor — Episode 3

In New York’s underworld, Black Harbor is the vital transportation hub that all crime families vie for. The protagonist, Elena Vale, was once the eldest daughter of the Vale family, kept under their protection. She believed she was merely a quiet pawn in the world of organized crime, destined for a political marriage. That is, until her father suddenly announced that she must marry Lucian Graves, the heir to the Graves family, who had just returned from prison. Lucian marries her not out of love, but to exact revenge on her father and reclaim everything he lost through treachery. Elena marries him not because she wants to, but because her father forces her to submit by threatening her sister’s safety. After the wedding, the two were forced to live together in the same cold, desolate estate. She hated him for ruining her life. He hated her for carrying the blood of his enemies. But as the Black Harbor ledgers, the truth behind her mother’s death, and the secrets of her origins gradually came to light, Elena discovered she was not merely a bride traded for power, but the true heir to Black Harbor. In the end, she was no longer anyone’s daughter, nor was she merely Lucian’s wife. She became the new mistress of Black Harbor.
