Expelled at Middle Age, I Became the Fisher King — Episode 3

Hank, once a legendary fisher king, spent his entire life savings helping his son Ryan start a family and build a career. But on his fiftieth birthday, his daughter-in-law humiliated him over a bowl of fish soup, while his cold-hearted son ruthlessly abandoned him and drove him out of the house. Penniless and broken, Hank turned to his daughter Lena, whom he had neglected for years. He reclaimed his fishing skills, plunged into marine fisheries, caught rare, high-value seafood, made a fortune in a spectacular comeback, and revived the entire fishing village industry. Meanwhile, Ryan’s greedy family kept stirring up trouble until they finally paid a bitter price and repented too late. In the end, Hank let go of past grievances, began a brand-new career journey, and found warm family affection and peaceful belonging in his later years.
