After being diagnosed with terminal brain cancer, Ryder Van Woodsen brutally dumps the love of his life, Astrid Marie, so that she could find someone else to spend it with. Years later, not expecting to have lived as long as he has but still struggling with cancerous symptoms: he fatefully runs into Astrid again. She’s distressed and had been told her fiance cheated on her with her step-sister mere minutes prior running into him again.
