My Ex Is My Neighbor — Episode 3

Desperate for her mother's life-saving surgery fees, Jiang Nuan is forced into a deal with Cheng Wanrou, selling her first night. She takes Cheng's place with Qin Muyuan, but by the time she rushes to the hospital with the money, her mother has already passed away. Devastated, Jiang Nuan is forcibly sent abroad by Cheng's bodyguards. Months later, finding hope upon discovering her pregnancy, her joy is cut short when Cheng finds out. Desperate to claim Qin Muyuan, Cheng fakes a pregnancy and goes abroad, bribing the doctor to steal Jiang Nuan's newborn while convincing her the baby was stillborn. Cheng then raises the child as her own with Qin. Five years later, Jiang Nuan returns as a top designer, unaware her child is alive or that Qin was the man from that night. Coincidentally, she buys the house right next to Qin's. Upon her return, she encounters Qin and his son, Qin Xiaoyan. Since Cheng only used the boy to get close to Qin, she treats him poorly, and Xiaoyan dislikes her. Consequently, although Qin granted Cheng the title of fiancée, he refuses to marry her.
