Repentance Is Punishment — Episode 3

Karen is a housewife, and her husband Tom is a wealthy lawyer. While Karen is out, their house catches fire, and their five-year-old daughter Anna falls and is critically injured. A Good Samaritan, Merry, hitches a ride on a fire truck driven by Fire Captain Bob to rush Anna to the ER for emergency surgery. On the way, the fire truck collides with Karen's car as she returns from meeting her lover. She demands an apology and compensation, wasting precious time. Merry, paramedic Eve, and bystanders try to convince her to let them pass. Karen refuses to budge, completely unaware that the fire truck is carrying her own daughter whose life hangs in the balance.
