Wen Yingying mistreats her stepdaughter Xuanxuan, harasses her mother-in-law, and colludes with her lover Lu Cheng, claiming her pregnancy belongs to Shang Mingyu when it is actually the lover's child. She steals assets, luxury cars, and forces Shang Mingyu to sign debt notes. Eventually exposed, Shang Mingyu is injured but divorces her. Encouraged by Su Ran and his daughter, Shang Mingyu realizes his mistakes and the family reconciles.

I literally could not stop watching! The cliffhanger at the end of this episode had me holding my breath.
The acting and pacing are top notch for a short drama. That confrontation scene was unforgettable!
