In her past life, Vivian was forced to marry Marcus, an abusive man; she built Aurora Capital from scratch, only to be stabbed to death on the red carpet by her stepsister, Chloe, on the very day the company went public on the Nasdaq. Only at the moment of death did she see the truth: her husband, Marcus, wanted her dead to seize the company, while her stepsister, Chloe, harbored a jealous hatred, believing Vivian had stolen everything that rightfully belonged to her. Reborn on the day of her engagement, Vivian turned the tables when Chloe schemed to swap fiancés. "You want to marry Marcus? Fine—I’ll give the man—and the abuse—right back to you." Instead, Vivian married into the Blackwood family, where Gideon—rumored to have no interest in women—became her staunchest ally. The sisters' fates diverged sharply: Vivian used memories from her past life to trade futures and divest real estate, rescuing the Blackwood family from crisis and reclaiming the Aurora empire; meanwhile, Chloe married into a crumbling household, was treated like a servant by her mother-in-law, saw her massive dowry swindled away by Marcus, and ended up begging for mercy after her futures positions were liquidated. When Chloe charged onto the stage with a knife once more, Vivian coldly revealed the truth: "In my past life, the founder of Aurora was never Marcus—it was me. The man you staked everything to win is nothing but a fraud."

I literally could not stop watching! The cliffhanger at the end of this episode had me holding my breath.

The acting and pacing are top notch for a short drama. That confrontation scene was unforgettable!
