Micah, a 32-year-old “broken-bone veteran,” shattered his ankle in the Olympic final six years ago and was expelled from the national team. He has trained alone ever since under a hidden identity. Ash, a 21-year-old data obsessive, approaches him under the pretext of writing a graduation thesis, using a delayed-rehabilitation program to help him return to the ice. The two go from testing each other to fighting side by side, breaking through head coach Karl’s covert blockade from within the rules and completing humanity’s first-ever quadruple Axel.

I literally could not stop watching! The cliffhanger at the end of this episode had me holding my breath.

The acting and pacing are top notch for a short drama. That confrontation scene was unforgettable!
