The wealthy woman always falls in love with me — Episode 5

After quitting a toxic tech job, Ethan Parker spends two years unemployed and nearly broke. His life changes when Catherine Grant, a powerful and emotionally guarded businesswoman, offers him five million dollars to become her contract husband and escape an arranged marriage. Everyone sees Ethan as a useless kept man, but beneath his shabby appearance is a brilliant former technology executive with exceptional coding skills. As Catherine faces jealous relatives, corporate sabotage, forced marriage schemes, and a battle for control of Grant Group, Ethan repeatedly protects her and humiliates those who underestimate him. What begins as a practical deal slowly becomes something neither of them expected. Surrounded by family secrets, business warfare, and growing desire, Catherine discovers that the “broke loser” she married may be the only man she can truly trust.
