Bonded to the Dragon — Episode 6

Vera, a blacksmith’s daughter, gets snubbed by every dragon at the dragon-selection ceremony—until Nightflame, the untamed black dragon no one’s tamed in a century, bonds with her. This catches the Supreme Speaker’s eye, and he secretly sets a trap for her. The Speaker’s been hunting the last flame-witch bloodline, and Vera’s the surviving heir. Kael, her trainer, shares the same dragon-bond mark as her. He’s the heir of the Purge Coven, and he’s been covering her back this whole time. Noble girl Loranna keeps hounding Vera to expose her real identity. The Speaker pulls strings with both Parliament and the Purge Coven—spiking her drinks, sending hitmen, faking evidence—to trap them both. Together, they piece the whole truth together.
