Set in a Latin American coffee-growing region, Daisy returns home and breaks local middlemen’s price monopoly. She helps villagers sell coffee beans to urban chain cafés for 17 pesos per kilogram, up from 5 pesos, sharply increasing their income. Valeria, sent by Daisy’s ruthless rival merchant uncle, infiltrates the village. She spreads a false rumor that the buying price is 23 pesos, convincing disgruntled villagers that Daisy is pocketing the difference. The villagers riot, destroy coffee stocks, tear up their deals, and drive Daisy out. They soon discover they have been deceived: the real buying price falls to just 7 pesos, leaving tons of beans to rot unsold. Undeterred, Daisy forms new partnerships with growers elsewhere. She secures a three-year contract with Ortega coffee, launches her company Café Bella, and wins a major five-ton supermarket order. Now regretful villagers beg to work with her again, even trying to raise prices. Daisy faces a difficult choice: personal mercy or strict business principles.

I literally could not stop watching! The cliffhanger at the end of this episode had me holding my breath.

The acting and pacing are top notch for a short drama. That confrontation scene was unforgettable!
