Don't Mess with the Real Heiress — Episode 7

Jade Cole, a top tier scholar and the biological daughter of the wealthy Cole family, receives an admission offer from Northwood University shortly after being reunited with her birth family. However, the fake daughter Lana Cole frames her. Deceived by Lana Cole’s pretence, Jade Cole’s birth father Harrison Cole, mother Penelope Hart and elder brother Shane Cole send the perfectly sane Jade Cole to Ridgewood Sanitarium. Trapped and tormented for three years, she develops a dangerous dissociative identity disorder, gaining immense physical strength; only her stray cat Nugget can soothe her volatile mental state. Three years later, her brother Shane Cole brings her back to Cole Manor. Jade Cole holds fast to her wish to sit for the college entrance examination fairly. Back in the Cole Manor, she suffers repeated unfair treatment from her biased family. Lana Cole drops her gentle act, burning Jade Cole’s study materials, destroying her medicine and trying to kill Nugget, which finally triggers Jade Cole’s violent alternate personality Joy Cole. Meanwhile, Shane Cole learns the full truth of Jade Cole’s miserable years in Ridgewood Sanitarium and drowns in remorse, yet he still hesitates to punish Lana Cole. Lucian Sterling, a brilliant, arrogant genius from Sterling Holdings, admires Jade Cole’s unmatched intellect and shares a profound rival like bond with her. When Lana Cole’s schemes are gradually exposed, the whole Cole family finally realises how terribly they have wronged Jade Cole.
