Eleanor Chase marries Duke Vincent Jordan, only to discover he is tangled up with a powerful concubine and a flirtatious sister-in-law. Though he looks down on her old-fashioned ways, Eleanor handles the family chaos with ease, taking on the concubine’s provocations and the sister-in-law’s schemes one by one. As the rightful mistress of the household, it is her place to set the Duke’s house in order, including the Duke himself.
