Playing with Fire, Burning Love — Episode 7

Hunted by an organization, retired assassin Soye hides in a remote border village with Lingyan, a wealthy heiress who has lost her memory. They pose as cousins. Raised like a hothouse flower, Lingyan complains about the harsh life, yet gradually comes to rely on Soye, prickly but dependable. Though outwardly indifferent, Soye quietly protects her. As their strange feelings grow, the two keep crossing the line between fake cousins. Then Lingyan’s husband, He Jun, who covets her inheritance, and Chi Meng, Soye’s old enemy, descend on the village. Peace shatters, forcing them to face each other’s true identities and genuine feelings at the brink of life and death.
