With multiple enemies who could be behind the threats, Jane isn't sure who to blame. It turns out to be the set lighting technician, a man who worked with and was obsessed with Ingrid. Doug abducts Jane, but her quick thinking leads Dom to rescue her—revealing their relationship and triggering the morality clause. Dom makes a deal with Jane's father without her knowledge: the father will stop trying to block Jane's film career, and Dom will return to London, never to see her again. On the night of Jane's film premiere, her father reveals the truth, and Jane contacts the man she fell in love with. Upon receiving her message, Dom returns to beg for forgiveness for leaving. Jane forgives him, and they can finally be together openly.
