The 6-Year-Old With Endless Cash — Episode 9

Ramona Vale spent five years running the Silverado, the desert hotel-casino her late mother built from nothing. Then her husband Trent and her half-sister Celine forged her signature, stole the hotel, and left her at an abandoned gas station three hundred miles from anywhere, with no phone, no money, and no way home. That's when a six-year-old girl walks up with a battered little satchel and asks, "Do you want some money?" Her name is Penny. Her bag is stuffed with cash that never runs out, and for reasons she won't explain, she has already decided Ramona is her new mommy. With a gruff trucker named Boone Calloway giving them a ride across the desert, the unlikely trio sets out for Las Vegas, and Penny's strange luck starts working overtime. Tires blow at exactly the right moment. A pawnshop turns up the ring Trent stole from Ramona's mother. And Trent's own shares go up for sale just when Ramona can afford them. But Celine isn't fighting fair. With help from a roadside tarot reader, she uses cursed stones to drain Penny's luck, frames Ramona with a fake video, and convinces their father to throw Ramona out in front of the whole city. Ramona has to win her mother's hotel back with her own hands, and Penny has to fight for the only family she has ever chosen. A mother who was thrown away. A little girl who was never wanted. Together, they're unstoppable.
